Mission Statement

"Building a Community engaged in expanding God's Kingdom"

Our mission is to know, love, serve and celebrate God through:
The act of worship encompasses a lifestyle which has as its priority the glory of God (Romans 12:1-2; I Cor. 10:31). To Him be glory in the church (Eph. 3:20). Our intention is to gain a prevailing passion to exalt the name of Jesus for the praise and glory of God (Psalm 115:1).

Our aim in building His people toward Christ-likeness is that every believer becomes a mature believer, attaining the unity of the faith (Eph. 4:11-16). Maturity is measured not only in knowledge but also in personal character and works of service. All believers are encouraged to find and use their spiritual gifts in specific areas of ministry to others in the body of Christ.

God’s great love for the world that sent Christ to the cross impels us to work toward His great commission for the church: to go into the world and preach the gospel. We have a very strong emphasis on supporting local and overseas missions through monetary giving and personal participation.
Statement of Faith
  1. We believe the Bible is God’s infallible, inspired, inerrant written word, the supreme and final authority for faith and practice.
  2. We believe in One God revealed in three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, was born of a virgin, suffered and died on the cross, was buried and rose again, ascended to heaven where He intercedes for us at the right hand of God.
  4. We believe man was created in the image of God and, because of the fall acquired a sinful nature and is in need of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
  5. We believe salvation is a gift from God accomplished through the atoning work of Christ on Calvary; salvation comes to the person who calls upon the Lord, turns from his sin and places faith in Christ alone.
  6. We believe that those who are born again are eternally secure, that they cannot lose their salvation, but sin can interrupt the joy of the Fellowship with God.
  7. The Holy Spirit indwells, seals and empowers believers to live Christ-like. The Holy Spirit gives gifts for the benefit of the whole body.
  8. We believe the Church consists of all those who belong to Christ by salvation and are called to worship Christ, build each other up in faith and fulfill the great commission.
  9. We believe that Christ will return to earth and establish His kingdom. A final judgment will ensue with eternal blessing for the righteous in Christ and eternal death for the wicked.
  10. We believe that each believer is responsible for his own conscience and the church cannot bind another’s’ conscience where Scripture is silent. Instead we are to love and respect each other in matters of conscience.
  11. We practice two ordinances: believer's baptism by immersion, and the regular participation in Communion, which is available to all believers in Christ.
  12. We also practice child dedication and recognize marriage as being only between a man and a woman.
Our affirmation:
We believe this Statement of Faith to be an accurate summary of what Scripture teaches. All members shall refrain from advocating doctrines that are not included in the Statement of Faith in such a way as to cause dissension.
